Glasgow continua ad essere imbattuto nella Guinness PRO14, sconfitte sia Benetton che Zebre
Il settimo weekend di Guinness PRO14 è stato amaro per le nostre due franchigie: dopo la bella partita in Champions Cup contro Toulon, la Benetton ha fatto un mezzo passo indietro contro Edinburgh, gli Scozzesi hanno giocato una bella partita ma i Biancoverdi sono apparsi un po’ sotto tono; ad un certo punto Treviso l’aveva ribaltata con la meta di Esposito ma qualche errore di troppo ha condannato la squadra di Crowley alla sconfitta senza punti.
Diversamente è andata alle Zebre che contro i Cheetahs sono quasi sempre state in vantaggio finendo per perdere a tempo pressoché scaduto; è un peccato perché nel finale le Zebre hanno concesso veramente troppo ai Sudafricani e hanno buttato via un’occasione importante per registrare la terza vittoria in stagione.
Prosegue la marcia di Glasgow che batte nettamente i Kings e si mantiene imbattuta.
Nei derby irlandesi bene Leinster che a Belfast, dopo un inizio equilibrato, batte nettamente Ulster e Connacht che sorprende Munster complice il cartellino rosso a Conway al 60esimo col punteggio sul 13 a 13.
Nel primo derby gallese gli Scarlets battono Cardiff e si mantengono al comando della Conference B, mentre nel secondo gli Ospreys battono Newport.
