Glasgow vince l’ottava partita su otto della Guinness PRO14, sconfitte per Benetton e Zebre
L’ottava giornata di Guinness PRO14 è stata avara di soddisfazioni per i nostri colori. La Benetton Treviso era impegnata nel campo difficile di Llanelli per affrontare una delle squadre più in forma del torneo; i biancoverdi hanno difeso bene ma qualche errore è costato loro le segnature degli Scarlets, da segnalare comunque la bella meta di McKinley che aveva illuso la squadra di Crowley. È andata peggio alle Zebre che hanno rimediato quasi 40 punti a Cardiff, 5 le mete dei Gallesi.
Chi invece viaggia a gonfie vele è Glasgow che batte anche Leinster – Sarto entrato nel finale – e si conferma squadra da battere quest’anno; nella conference degli Scozzesi impressiona Munster che rifila quasi 50 punti a Newport. Negli altri match Connacht batte i Cheetahs mentre Ulster si rimette in carreggiata battendo i Kings in Sud Africa. Infine Edinburgh batte gli Ospreys.
