Daniel Carter è stato nominato World Rugby Player of the Year 2015

L’apertura degli All Blacks Daniel Carter è stato eletto World Rugby Player of the Year 2015; Carter si porta a casa il titolo di miglior giocatore dell’anno per la terza volta, al termine di una stagione esaltante culminata con la sua grande prestazione nella finale della Rugby World Cup vinta sull’Australia.
Carter ha battuto la concorrenza del compagno di squadra Julian Savea, del flanker australiano Michael Hooper del numero otto wallabies David Pocock, della seconda linea del Galles Alun Wyn Jones e del mediano di mischia della Scozia Greig Laidlaw.

Gli All Blacks sono stati nominati World Rugby Team of the Year mentre il riconoscimento per il miglior allenatore dell’anno è andato a Michael Cheika.
